Provide Sustenance
The Messenger of Allah, pbuh, said, “One who lends effort to the widows and the poor is like one waging jihad in the way of Allah.” Sahih Al-Bukhārī & Muslim
Livelihood Projects
“Who will lend Allah a good loan so that He can increase it many times?” (Qur’an, 2:245)
Empowering vulnerable communities is at the heart of what we do. You could provide essential skills and tools needed, to earn their own income, enabling them to protect themselves and their families. Help us in our fight against poverty and CHANGE LIVES.
Sustainable livelihoods increase the resilience of the people and communities, reducing their vulnerability to disasters, food insecurity and poverty while contributing to their empowerment, personal dignity. This is where the focus of the Livelihoods Resource Centre of the IFRC work lies, as this short video explains.
